Small Group Training offers a unique opportunity to explore a new dimension of fitness by merging Group Fitness with Personal Training. In a small group training session you can experience more individualized attention without sacrificing the camaraderie you find in traditional group fitness classes, it is the best of both worlds.
Our nationally recognized certified trainers focus on individual goals, progression and skill development. Group sessions last five to six weeks and meet one to three times a week depending on the type of class. Groups range between three to five people per class.
The class is designed to accommodate fit athletes of varying ages. We use weight, repetition and cardiovascular exercises to accommodate differing abilities and injuries. Some exercise independence is needed for the class, however, form will be watched closely in order to minimize unwanted joint stress and maximize specific muscle strength and endurance. The class is designed with 2 goals in mind. The first is aging graceful with a strong emphasis on fitness. The second is minimizing the chance of an overuse injury with endurance type activities like hiking, running, and biking. We focus on posture, balance, strength and flexibility imbalances, and endurance stabilization muscles.
The class meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:10-7:55AM. The class is continuous and does not require an initial start and stop date. It can be done parallel with an endurance activity in mind or just to progress in fitness and health.
The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.
*Classes are limited to five participants per session. Sessions are non-refundable.
Participants will improve definition, tone, strengthen core, and burn calories through high intensity Kettlebell movements. Kettlebell workouts facilitate whole body dynamic movements for strength, endurance, and power. The overall training effect will change when participants increase or decrease the amount of weight being used for the particular exercises.
A package can be purchased once during the duration of the five week class.
Each session is 15 minutes, hands on stretching.
