This is a chance for kids to learn a lifetime fitness activity. Our 45 minute workout will improve endurance and perfect techniques, helping children learn advanced swimming skills. Children must have completed Level 3 or be at least 8 years old to participate. We meet every Monday – Thursday from 4:30pm-5:15pm. Join us at any time & fit your 12 classes in at your convenience.
Youth Swim for Fitness (YSFF) will be composed of several key parts. The main component will be the workouts. Based on what your child is capable of, we will put them in the appropriate lane with the appropriate workout. These workouts will vary from day to day. For example, one day we will focus on endurance training. Another day we will focus on stroke technique and another day sprint training will be the focus.
Another key component will be “Work-Shop” Days. Workshop days will involve Coach Theo spending individualized time with each child while the other swimmers do their workout. He will spend 5 or 10 minutes with each child helping them to improve their stroke technique.
A package of 12 sessions costs $57 for HealthPlus members and $78 for non-members. Class meets every Monday thru Thursday from 4:30 - 5:15pm. Join us at any time & fit your 12 sessions in at your convenience.
